Got an old iPod gathering dust in a drawer? This could be your ticket to a brand new iPod!

Apple Recall on iPod nano 1st generation

We often get customers asking if we can still repair the iPod nano 1st generation. Many are surprised to hear that there is a recall on these devices.

Apple issued a recall on these devices in 2011. Despite this fact there are still many of these devices out there. Many of which no longer function.

There is more good news! As┬áthe iPod nano 1st generation is now discontinued, Apple replace with the latest generation. At the time of writing that’s the iPod nano 7th gen. So if you have one of these iPods make sure you take advantage of this offer now.

  1. Greetings: Found my old iPod nano 1st generation 2006 model in a box outside. For fun plugged it in to see if it would work and up popped a message from apple offering me a new iPod in exchange. After backflipping I send it off and Less than a week later I received a shiny brand new latest model iPod . Always Love Apple.
    Cheers,

    Greg
